StudentsStudent membership of the ASM is available to undergaduates or full-time postrgraduates with an interest in microbiology. The ASM-WA recognises that students are the future of microbiology and actively encourages student participation and interaction with ASM-WA members at Branch activities. Students are also representated on the WA Branch Committee. Student members not only receive the same benefits as ordinary members of the ASM for a reduced fee, but are eligible for student travel awards and vacation scholarships. Membership information and application forms can be obtained from the Australian Society for Microbiology. For information about getting involved in the ASM-WA please contact your student representative on the WA Branch Committee.
